SourceTree crashes on start

bogdangheorghe June 6, 2018 edited

Hi,

I've been trying for a few hours to find a solution for this issue but no luck so far.

I had SourceTree 2.7.3 installed on macOS HighSierra 10.13.5 and the app keeps crashing on start without any error.

I updated it to 2.7.4 but the result is the same.

And I don't like the idea of uninstalling it since I have some uncommitted changes left.

Here is an error log: https://pastebin.com/hWF82GgQ

Any ideas?

LE:  I managed to find out what is causing this (apparently).

The problem seems to be with the browser.plist located in ~/Library/Application Support/SourceTree.

Deleting the file allows SourceTree to start without any local bookmark but if I try to add a local repository, the app crashes.

I'm also having this problem, with pretty much the exact same stacktrace.

I did find a hacky work-around, turn off your network connection before launching SourceTree. Once launched, you can turn it on and it seems to work OK.

Thanks for the info. However, it seems 2.7.5 was released and now it's working.
