Considering that stash is the latest newest super-tool that Atlassian delivers, and that SourceTree is a nice companion to it; considering that a lot of the Atlassian client base is using linux (this is an assumption, but my logic is: people who use good tools use good OSes), then I'd say it'd be worth thinking about porting the app to Linux.
Making it opensource would probably be a good way to achieve this...

Obviously, as purists say, the application looks better if developed with native libraries. However, Qt looks good on any platform and if functionality takes precendence on slick looks then you have a winner and make happy more than only users of one OS.
