SourceTree version 1.8

Hi

Since I upgraded from sourcetree 1.7 to 1.8 it keeps crasching from time to time. Running windows 7 against a local stash repository. 

Something more people has experienced?

I work on a fairly big project, with thousands of files. After the upgrade to 1.8, SourceTree has become unusable.... crashes on any operation... so yes, i am experiencing right now

I just upgraded to SourceTree 1.8.1. I am also crashing very often, near constantly. On windows 10 OS with latest patches.

Additionally, when I need to merge a file, the option to launch any merge option is often not available. Editing the file will enable the UI to  detect I need to merge the file.

After a merge completes in an external merge tool, 100% chance SourceTree will crash.

How can I download to 1.7????

The program's constant switching of tabs away from Log/History – where I do all my work – to File Status makes it unusable.

Downgrading to 1.7.0.x also no longer working on Win7.   Tried several times to uninstall, reboot, repair, install.   ST hangs on startup looks like trying to create bogus path.  Crash dialog cannot be closed/does not connect to browser.

Another round of uninstall, delete folders, wack registry entries and 1.7.0.x magically installed correctly and starts without issues.

Hi,

Just had a similar problem with the new 1.8 SourceTree, and tried downgrading.

What is weird, is we can see in the Windows Release Notes there's a SourceTree 1.7.0.36739 after this 1.7.0.32509: https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/update/WindowsReleaseNotes.html

But this version can't be found, either by altering the URL given about, or selecting it when upgrading from an older SourceTree version.

Any ideas?
