I just upgraded (by simply replacing the previous SourceTree.app (2.2.4) with the new Sourcetree.app (3.0.1) in my Applications folder.
The app launches and repositories can be be viewed. But whenever I click "Settings" for any git repository, the app just freezes with the pizza cursor and never opens the settings window. I have to force quit the app.
This only happens with git repositories and Mercurial repositories are ok.
I even created a new local git repository from within Sourcetree and Settings also freezed the app.
Can somethign be done? Also, is there a way to report specific bugs like this?
Same problem here. macOS 10.13.6, SourceTree 3.0.1.
Open a repository in the repository browser. Click the settings cog and it just freezes with a the spinning beachball.
Hi Charles,

Hmm, following the procedure you refer me to, I end up with a file named
sysdiagnose_2018.11.28_23-22-09-0500_64607_Mac_OS_X_iMac13-2_17G3025.tar
Which is 153 Mb in size. Of course, I cannot send this along with a bug report.
Is there some data I should extract from that file?
Thanks,

Same thing here. Looks like there's an issue raised about it here:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREE-6251
This is for a newly-cloned repo (from BitBucket) on a freshly launched SourceTree. It used to be intermittent, but now happens all the time, making ST unusable since I can't configure my repos.
