Sourcetree 4.2.4 Not Responding Error on Mac

Sourcetree is suddenly hanging on our system, and I notice it's only on a specific respository which has had some recent changes to the files.

 

is there a way to debug what is causing the issue ?  

 

Mac Activity Viewer shows the process has frequent hangs,
