Sourcetree commit history always empty

Attached image shows what I am always seeing in commit history.  I am able to checkout branches, pull commit push, etc.  No issues.  History however shows nothing.  Repo is Git.  Version of ST is 1.9.10.0.  Have tried removal of bookmark and reload.  Deletion of local repo and re-clone.  Uninstall of app, and uninstall of app with deletion of ST configuration files.  Not sure how to proceed.

That's very strange. There's clearly an error when loading the history, but I have no idea how to see what that error is.
