User Information in Tools-Options is not used as Author of a commit

In Tools-Option-Default User Information is set:

Full Name: Reiff, Michael, HO

Email adress: michael.reiff@de.company.com

 

When I create a commit, the author is: Reiff<michael.reiff@company.com>

 

Expected Result: User Information is taken into account as Author of the commit.

How can I get this?
