Atlassian Certified Expert: Introducing our new name and path for our top-level credential

We’ve renamed our Atlassian Certified Master credential to Atlassian Certified Expert, and launched a Confluence Pro Skills Badge to help you get there. This is just the beginning. As we add more new Certifications in the coming months, we will be updating the available pathways to earn this exclusive designation.

Why the name change?

Atlassian believes in striving for more inclusive language across our products. Atlassian University identified “master” as vocabulary that could be replaced and help us move toward a more accurate and inclusive ways to represent our most accomplished learners.

Is it possible to add the pro skills badge

APB-710 Jira Align Agilist: Pro Skills Badge

As an "additional certification" (similar to confluence space admin skills badge) as an additional way to obtain the Atlassian certified Expert Credential.

Jira Align is an additional Atlassian Product Offering, and so it makes sense to include it as an optional pathway for obtaining the Atlassian Expert Credential...

Hello,

What are the new requirements to become an Atlassian Certified Expert for Data Center? As you noted, 2 of the 5 exams are retiring but it still says you need 4 out of 5 in all paths on https://university.atlassian.com/student/activity/844004-atlassian-certified-expert.

If we earn the ACP-610, ACP-100, and APB-220, then would we be considered Experts? If not, what can the new 4th one be that's for Data Center, not Cloud?

EDIT -- RECEIVED A REPLY ON https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Training-Certification-questions/How-to-become-Atlassian-Certified-Expert-after-completing-ACP/qaq-p/1995584#U2077721: "Unfortunately, the Atlassian University Team has not releases a DC equivalent to ACP-420: Managing Jira Service Projects for Cloud. At this time getting that Cloud certification would be your only option, or waiting until a DC certification for that has been made available."

The better option for DC-focused folks, instead of earning a Cloud certification for Jira Service Management, is to earn 2 Jira Admin certifications, one for Cloud.

This path will be advantageous from a career development perspective and learning Jira Admin for Cloud builds nicely on your existing Jira Admin expertise.

Path with Two Jira Administrator Certifications

Hold both of the following:

• ACP-JA Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Data Center and Server

• ACP-JCA Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Cloud

Hold one of the following:

• ACP-MJCP Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Cloud

• ACP-MJDP Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Data Center

• AC-JPA Atlassian Certified Jira Project Administrator for Data Center and Server

Hold one of the following:

• APB-CSA Confluence Space Administration Pro Skills Badge

• ACP-MJSP Atlassian Certified Jira Service Project Manager for Cloud

It's gone as well as all of its mentions on the exam certification pages. 

As well as the results from Google search. 

What happened, Atlassian, I was on my way to the expert badge and now it seems to be gone.

Yes, @Andrew Belyaev This post Evolving the Atlassian Certification Program explains that ACE was recently retired. Please also see: Retiring Credentials & Certifications.

However, we still offer 6 Professional Certifications that you can earn, as well as 2 Associate Certifications (plus new ones on the way!) that will roll into our next iteration of the expert designation.
