×Hi Atlassian community:
I use JIRA as a BA & Scrum master at work, and have just completed the ACP-620 course. Scheduled to do the exam mid November.
Re exam prep: other than the few sample questions (7 odd), I was wondering if there are other sample questions I can access, or alternative ways to get ready? Or is it just the case of rewatching the video? Are there PDF formats I can review for study?
I replicated some of the lab in my own JIRA instance, but I don't feel it prepares me for multi-choice answers. Have been a decade or so out of uni and not exam sharp. Any help & guidance much appreciated.
Thx,
Woody
Hi Woody,
from my experience - practise is the golden key.
I just want to add some very good resources that helped me a lot - apart from the good information Benjamin already gave.
10-week study plan for ACP-600 Project Administration in Jira Server
(this one is not tailored to Cloud but the information are valid to those as well)

Hi Woody,
How is ACP 620 exam? any model question/material available?

I have pass the ACP-620 exam. The 2 important things you should always do for any Atlassian certification:
1. Practice on a system on those topics.Especially, the areas you are not quite sure about or haven't use much.
2. Read the atlassian documentation to get troubleshooting tips and expected behavior.
If you do those 2, likely you have a good chance of success.

I took the exam and failed on my first attempt. I'm retaking it on Dec 10 because I was super close to passing it the first time.
I went through the training course, utilized the lab, and reread the 300 page downloadable manual (copy of the training course) again for reference.
After all of that, I still failed by what seemed to be a couple questions. Seems my ability to understand the "Reports" section is very lacking. Other than looking at the Atlassian resources of each report type, do you have any tips for increasing my knowledge in understanding/interpreting the meanings of the different "agile reports' and "issue analysis reports"?
Here's hoping I've learned enough to pass my second attempt next week!

@[deleted] - you got this! So close! For the reports, generate different data sets with the issues you create. Observe what information you get out of it. The main thing is understanding the value each report brings. For me, I study each report to figure out the why and the purpose of that report.
also, what help me is that I flag questions I’m not 100% sure. I go back and take my time to process the question further and notice I miss a keyword in the question.
good Luck!

Good luck - I failed I think by one question the first time as well hoping to try again in Jan - reporting was the tough part for me too

Hello Ashokkumar,
The exam was a bit harder than I anticipated, but I also only had a year's worth of Jira experience before taking it.
The Atlassian University course is a great #1 resource.
The next best thing is utilizing that Lab as well with the course. Going hands on with the different configurations and settings and seeing what changes occur should stick in your mind.
Lastly, looking through the reports and becoming familiar with what settings impact the results of the reports is very useful, too (in helping to understand the purpose of the different reports as well).

Hi Richard, just want to know if questions are same in retake exam as previous attempt?

@Woody Lo , I would also suggest looking at the ACP-600 sample questions at https://training.atlassian.com/static/elearning/ACP-600%20Sample%20Questions%20Oct%201/story_html5.html. It is not ACP-620 (which only had 7), but it should give a feel for the test questions and some concepts are similar. Keep in mind you are a project admin, not a jira or system admin.
Also, on a personal note, I've always taken my Atlassian exams at a testing center, rather than proctored at-home. It helped my focus, concentration, time management, and I've read and heard from other users who had issues with the proctored test. But again, this is just my case. Do what works best for you and good luck.

Is lab available during exam?
I have gone through the course but feeling grossly under prepared to give exam .

Hi @Alka Gupta . There's no lab during the exam. Would recommend practicing with your own cloud environment by signing up for one.

Hi,
I have 4+ years of experience in JIRA cloud administration. I am planning to do a certification ACP600 or ACP620 and ACP100 or ACP120 in Jan 2021.
Please recommend some useful materials for these certifications.

I agree with the above . All I did was use the Atlassian University course , watched it and took noted and then tried to replicate similar functions and exercise in Jira instance I have access to (have a work one and a free one for myself).
For me what was enough , am grateful I think I picked up a lot of skills at work also.
all the best ,
W

Atlassian Documentation and practice on an instance. Choose the cert platform you will mostly work on. since you are working cloud, its make more sense to go with the cloud certs as you can apply it right away. If you work on both, do both.
Good luck!

Where do I find Atlassian Documentation for JIRA cloud projects?

Hi @Avnish Narula , for general Cloud project documentation, here is a starting point - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-projects.
For the ACP-620, go to this link - https://www.atlassian.com/university/certification/certifications/exam-acp-620. Under the training section, there are a few other links. When you purchase the voucher for $100, it includes the training course and the exam.
Hope this helps.
