Adding Item Due Dates to Checklist Items

How can you set the item due date when you add a card via automation? I can't get the "Set the item due" command to work.

when a card is added to list "To Dos", add the "Sample" checklist from card "Checklists" renamed to "Task" to the card, and set the item due now

The help offered on https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Automate-setting-due-date-for-a-checklist-item/qaq-p/2357213 didn't seem to answer my situation.

There are 2 types of due date in Trello

1. Card due date
2. Checklist item due date

Your automation is using the checklist item due date but because there can be multiple checklist items, you have to specify.  You can do:

1. Set the checklist item when it is added
   
   "when an item is added to a checklist "Sample", set the item due now"
   
   
2. Set all the checklist items
   
   "when a card is added to list "To Dos", add the "Sample" checklist from card "Checklists" renamed to "Task" to the card and for each item in a checklist name "Task", set the item due now"

The "for each item in..." command, go to Cascade section
