Auto removing Trello ID label from Jira task

Newbie to Jira/Trello here.

I'm creating Jira cards from Trello manually, so the info remains linked, but when I create the Jira card, a Trello label is added which I think is the card ID. 

Is there anyway to stop this from happening at all, as our CFO uses the labels on Jira cards to control our intneral assets and having a different label on each card like "trello:f4dg85uwd" isn't ideal.

I have the same issue.

We ended up creating an automation when a ticket is created to go in and remove all labels.  This worked for us.
