Automatically adding a bot to a trello board

Hello. 

I am trying to create a chrome extension that automatically adds a bot responsible for integrating with trello boards when a button is clicked.

I tried to use the doom element from the website to enter the bot's name and add it, but I think this is not possible due to the logic of the input element and the inability of the chrome extension to emulate the user's keyboard event on external pages.

I'm thinking of using an invite link to solve this problem. Is there an option in the api to accept an invitation having only an invite link or is it possible to add this functionality to the trello's api? For example https://trello.com/invite/b/[boardID]/[invitationCode]/[BoadName]?key=xxx&token=xxx
