Cancel recurring tasks?

I have a number of recurring tasks (cards) that I no longer need, but I can't find a way to remove them. I've tried archiving, deleting, closing, moving to another list, removing the recurr dates... everything I can think of. The cards refuse to stop re-occurring.

Are you using a Cart Repeater for that? Or some other power-up?

In Planyway we do allow you to do all of these actions with recurrencies:  https://planyway.com/help/features/recurring-tasks-in-trello

I use the Repeat power-up to create recurring tasks. I might try Planyway, but...

"Calendar, Timeline, Time Tracking by Planyway may store personal data and is not in compliance with Trello's data and privacy practices."

This is probably true of many power-ups, but it makes me hesitate.
