Hey There,
We have a trello board that works for our daily processes which we set all to complete during the work day.
When we come in the next business day, we need to change all the tiles manually to todays date.
Is there an automation that will change the due date of all the tiles on a board to today's date?
Many thanks
Sharnee
Hi @Sharnee ! Welcome to the community :) you should be able to achieve this with automation using a due date command. Try something along the lines of:
1 days after a card is due at 12:01 am, move the due date by 1 days
Thanks so much!
we currently have 3 sections on the trello board.
Section 1 has to be completed by 12:30pm.
Section 2 has to be completed by 3:30pm
Section 3 has to be completed by 4:30pm.
So all day long we will complete all tiles on that board with the day set to today and the times set accordingly.
Then tomorrow, we have to change all the dates.
Will that logic still apply above?
How would that work given we have time specific due dates.
Thanks again, appreciate you for taking the time to respond.

Yes, it should work just fine! So the time mentioned in the command is the time the automation will trigger. So, let's say it's now Feb 2nd 12:01 am. The automation should do the following:
Card 1: Feb 1st 12:30 pm --> Feb 2nd 12:30 pm
Card 2: Feb 1st 3:30 pm --> Feb 2nd 3:30 pm
...and so on.
You can test it out on a test board if you want to see how it'll look! Set the trigger time to be a few minutes after you create the rule so you don't have to wait to midnight ;)
