Getting started with Trellinator

It looks like sooner or later I will need to get my hands into Trellinator.

Although I used to be a C programmer long time ago, I'm a bit rusty on coding so I need a very basic guide for getting started.

Any recommendations? Tutorials? All help is welcome though I guess @Iain Dooley is the name :)

Ooh @ian is this a good place to start if i want to start learning to build stuff on Trello?

@Brittany Joiner in some ways ... when most people talk about "building things on Trello" they're talking about powerups, and while in theory you could use Trellinator to build a powerup it's not something I've done and not something I have documentation for.

Trellinator is more like what Butler Bot used to be before it was made into a powerup and acquired by Trello (that's what I built it to replace).

In that sense, it's a great way to get into automating Trello using the API, and if you're not a coder, but you're a Trello enthusiast, it could be a really fun way to learn coding in general :)

What language is used to code powerups?

@Gerardo Blitzer Powerups have a server component written in any language but you can also use CSS/Javascript to modify the interface in limited ways.

Trellinator is written in Google Apps Script which is basically just JavaScript. I don't think you'd need to learn JavaScript first because you can get anything useful done, you could just learn enough to get by.
