How can I create a background color for days in calendar power up?

Hi!

 I can't figure out how/what you do  to change the background color on  the Calendar Power ups. When I added a task for one day, it automatically turned that background date yellow,  but I have no idea what I did to make the background change. I would love to color code more, but I'm not sure how/what I need to do.

@Melody Pfeffer there are some rules set that make the colors of the date change based on if its within 24 hours of due (yellow) or overdue (red) or completed (green), but I don't believe there's any way to change those values (ie, if you want it to be yellow for 7 days out)
