Completed cards still appear on Calendar

I have cards with each cards task has different due dates. Once completed I will mark/tick each Card as Complete but the 3 cards are not removed from the Calendar view immediately. Why is this ?

Also when I schedule new cards - put due dates on new cards, it does not reflected on the Calendar immediately.
