I have a Trello account with a short version of my company email (just my first name) but my Jira account is using google login with a long version of my email.
When I completed the migration flow promoted on Trello a new account appeared that does not contain any of my boards or company team. A new one was created with the long version of my email:
- I cannot update the email on the first account, it says email is taken
- I cannot change the email on Atlassian because it's via google login
- I cannot delete the new Trello account because that is now merged with my Jira account which I don't want to delete
Looks like you didn't consider the short and long versions of the same email on this migration flow.
Advice please!
