Hi all,
We are a start-up and we run TRAVEL AGENCY business. We concentrate only on one destination. We would like to use trello.com in the most effective way to help us run the business. However, I am not very familiar with all the power app which could be useful for the travel agency business. I would like to describe in a simple way step by step what we do and how the process runs. I would really appreciate any suggestions on power apps that could help us or could simplify our daily routine.
The main source of our customers are from word of mouth, Facebook or Instagram
How it runs:
1.) we receive an email of FB message from a customer
2.) we require dates of travel, number of persons, email address
3.) we create a card on trello.com and we add a name, dates of travel, number of persons, meal plan
4.) we sent an offer with few holiday packages to the customer
5.)
a) customer replies so we sent him an email and we are going to check the availability
b) customer doesn't reply we will send a follow-up email in the next few days
6.) Dates are available customer receives an email with the availability together with an invoice (created manually)
7.) Customer pays the invoice and receives a confirmation voucher
8.) After the customer returns back from the holiday he receives a review request email.
This is the ideal way of booking or reservation. It doesn't happen very often. As you can see everything is done manually so far. Emails, invoices, confirmation vouchers, etc. The problem comes when we receive a huge volume of requests we are getting lost. Any suggestions on any POWER APPS PLEASE WHICH COULD MAKE OUR LIFE SIMPLER? Reminder apps? Reservation apps? Follow up apps? Automatic selection of dates app? Anything would help.
I appreciate any help from people who knows what is the travel industry about.
Thank you
@Crew Maldives Holidays in addition to Butler automation and the excellent Crmble power up from @Antonio Panea you might also find it useful to be able to send and receive your booking emails directly from Trello. I created BenkoDesk for this purpose, which means you can use Trello for shared email like bookings@yourcompany.com
So for example, using this system you can create a Butler button that automatically posts a reply email containing some information you entered into a custom field, and keep track of follow up dates required using due dates on the cards and moving cards through lists to indicate the stage of the booking process that a given enquiry has reached.
I absolutely agree with @Michael Pryor . In addition if you are looking for a simple CRM for getting control of your leads maybe Crmble Power-Up could be a good option for you too. It creates an automatic Sales Pipeline in your board, giveing you reports and It is connected with Google Contact, Google Drive and Facebook Leads. Is a Beta version and during the next days upcoming features will be added like email tracker and Forms.
If you need any help just let me know!
Thanks

1. I would automate getting the info INTO trello that you want, via a form. For example, Typeform and the typeform Trello Power-Up will put the typeform responses into Trello as new cards. Or you could use the email to board feature and have people email the info to you: https://blog.trello.com/how-to-create-trello-cards-from-email
2. You should also spend some time looking into Butler - our automation engine. Butler can do amazing things. It can send emails for you, and soon it will be able to talk to Slack (and Jira). https://help.trello.com/article/1198-an-intro-to-butler
