Can I limit visibility on cards to specific members?

I have several sub contractors and want to add them all to one trello board but have it so they can only see data on the cards that are relevant to them. Is there a way of doing this so that they cannot see each others cards?

@Gary Whapples it looks like they also just added a feature called "mirroring".  So each sub could have their own board, and see a "mirror" image of the card you make on your own board.  So to you they look like part of one big board, to the sub it just looks like there's only one card.  Changes he makes on his show up on yours and vice versa.  I haven't tried it but seems like a neat fix!

@Gary Whapples If you're working with subcontractors, I have found the best way to do this is to add a label with the name of the subcontractor and automatically copy a card to their board, linked back to the original. You then have one board where you can see and plan everything, and each contractor can see only their copy. You can then add in various other automations as required, for example to add or change labels on the master card in your board when the card in the contractor board changes lists, copy comments back and forth and so on.

Yes, please provide an example of this.  How does it automatically copy a card to their board?  And how exactly do you add the member name to the label?  (using the tagging functionality like @Iain Dooley?) Does that functionality work when they are not a member of the local Trello Board?  This is a bit unclear.  Thanks for your help @Iain Dooley

I don't think Trello is really set up for permissions, period.  But one thing you could do is when setting it up for them, filter the board (search cards) to show only the cards they are labeled on or a member of.  Odds are they'll never figure out how to undo it!  :-) (I think this will stay across multiple sessions, but haven't actually tested it.  Just all I could think of to try to keep the relevant info for them.)  If you have any truly sensitive information, you're probably going to need separate boards, but if it's just for them to see clearly what's theirs, this would work.
