Is there a Master Calendar function in Jira?

I'm looking to see all my projects in one master calendar.

If there is no master calendar function, then what are the workarounds? An app?

You have a couple of options depending on what plan you are on. Atlassian just released a tool called Atlas that allows you to view all projects on a timeline. If you are on Jira Premium plan you have access to Plan (Advanced roadmap). There are also apps in the Marketplace that provide roadmap features.

Check also BigGantt. The app provides a timeline on which all your Projects will be presented task-like. Moreover, you can visualize high-level data on initiatives in the form of a Kanban board or hierarchical tree and track the progress of initiatives in a standardized way.
