Since a few days I am using the power-up (Read me) which brings a pop-up, when you open a board.
I like this pop-up. Today I wrote the text with the GitHub markup and it works fairly well. To see a live view of the markup I used this editor: https://jbt.github.io/markdown-editor/
And as a markup-guideline I used (PDF): https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjl-vSnjufxAhU8hf0HHefzAi8QFnoECBQQAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fguides.github.com%2Fpdfs%2Fmarkdown-cheatsheet-online.pdf&usg=AOvVaw2wnHXkAeuhELAcR_y0RQEV
In there I found a link for the complete emoji list: www.emoji-cheat-sheet.com
In the editor, I get a nice preview of the emojis.
In the Read me in Trello I only get the emojis like that: :date: :email: :x:
Can someone tell me how to display the emojis?
Hi Andreas,
I'm not sure if this will help you or not - but I'm able to add system emoji (using the picker that comes up with cmd + ctrl + space on Mac) to the Read me power- up. https://share.getcloudapp.com/rRujxxyD. I have not tried this on Windows. This may be more of a workaround than a solution to your problem. Good luck!
Hi Andrea!
Thank you very much for your answer!
It helped me indeed. I am using Linux and so I installed the software "Emote". Now I am able to insert emojis which are displayed in the Read Me Powerup.
Greetings
Andreas
