Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×When I use "Add Trello Card" or similar action in Siri Shortcuts, it says that Shortcuts does not have access to my Trello account. I clicked on the "Allow Access" button and stepped through the flow, and successfully logged in. However, when the auth window disappears, the card still says "Shortcuts does not have access to your Trello account". I tried restarting my phone.
Has anyone else had issues with this?
Do you have the Trello app on your iPhone and you are active ?
Yes to both. However, when authenticating it opens a new browser within Shortcuts rather than using the Trello app.

Just tested on my iPhone and card was created without authentication. Under settings Siri and Search for Trello, all the toggles are turned on. That’s the only check I would suggest.

The card was created without authentication? That's impossible. You must already be authenticated. How would it know which board to put the card on?

I have worked with Shortcut and Trello for sometime. I cannot recall what I did the first time. I do not recall having to sign in on the browser. I had the app for most part so I need not do more.
In the test just now, shortcut was able to know the last board I have worked on last night and I picked a list from that board to add a test card.
Just sharing my experience.
