If our client's organization already has Trello Business Class and we want to add them to our team, do we have to pay for their seat? Does their Trello account privilege from their company carry over?
I'm afraid we don't have an option to bring an existing Business Class user into another Business Class team without being billed for them. Business Class is associated with teams (What are teams?) and billing is based on the number of members on that team. If you have two different teams that share some of the same members, and you have Business Class for both teams, you will end up paying twice for the members who belong to both teams.
What many businesses do—and what we recommend—is to use a single team as your Business Class team and to associate all of your boards with that team.
