Welcome Wednesday: Easily Plan Your Cloud Costs

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I've had this conversation a few times since the beginning of the month and every time I have shared my tip for making this easier it have been new information to the people I have been chatting with.

Upfront disclaimer: I'm not trying to sell you anything! I do NOT work for Atlassian or any solution partner.  I'm an Atlassian Customer who found a neat tool Atlassian provides which has been beneficial to our renewal process.

No question for this week, here's my secret weapon for appearing smart in front of of the people who make all the $$$ decisions:  The Atlassian Cloud Calculator

You can select as many cloud products app (supported by centralized billing) as you want to see pricing for.

Then on the next page, you can select your plan & number of users for each app as well as your billing cycle (monthly or annual). 

It will even warn you of any errors in your selections, such as Enterprise plans require annual billing.  And, the icing on the cake? You can even include Marketplace Apps to get the most accurate overall cost!

Everything on this page will dynamically refresh.  So, if you wanted to experiment with various growth scenarios you can quickly and easily see how that will affect your overall costs!

It is indeed educational. I found I had to click around it a bit to get it to refresh, and I wanted links to the pages that show the difference between versions. But @Staffan Redelius is right, it's so much better than a spreadsheet. Actually, the ability to export the data would be pretty handy
