Welcome Wednesday: Team '25 Remote/Virtual Attendance Advice!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I’m sure you are starting to see a number of things all around Team ‘25 and how great things are going to be.

For everyone that is no able to attend in person, I’m sorry we are going to miss you. I know this can feel bittersweet as you want to be excited about the announcements, but it just doesn’t feel quite the same as being there.

However, I still think it’s important to try and treat virtual attendance as a proper attendee type.

My biggest recommendation is the set expectations with your co-workers that you “ARE” attending Team '25. There will be a number of recorded sessions for you to learn from in addition to watching the keynotes.

Take advantage of all the content that is provided to you as you will likely learn something that will help you in your day to day job.

Additionally, PLEASE keep an eye out for my Welcome Wednesday Post on April 9th! I will be running a charity challenge again and I will have both remote and in person participation again so I will need your help!

I'll be attending virtually this year and have taken @Jimmy Seddon's advice seriously by blocking time on my calendar.  Luckily, I am East Coast based so I'll be able to get a good block of work done each day before joining livestreams.

This is so thoughtful, @Jimmy Seddon, thank you for thinking of us! I'd planned to go but life and work deadlines overtook that week so I will be joining my fellow Virtual Team '25 attendees as much as possible! GREAT idea to block out time on your calendar to attend sessions that week if possible, @Andy Gladstone. I hope it's a great event for everyone! 😊

@Geert de Vries if you follow the link @Andy Gladstone provided you can register as a virtual attendee to be able to access all the online content that will be provided for anyone that can't make it in person.

Whilst I am gutted not to be there in person, I am excited to experience the virtual attendee experience. 

A great way to promote this to others who can't make it in person either.
