As a Jira admin, I had received a request from Project admin set up clockwork for other users .

I have received request from a Project admin that he wants to track the timesheet in clockwork for other users, as the users does not log the work hours for issues hence he wants to update the clockwork for the other users. However, wherever the timesheet shows 0 he cannot modify or update but if it shows other figures than 0 , he is able to modify. Also he wants to update as well.

What shall I do as a Jira admin, do I have to do something in permission schema for project admin so that he can log the clockwork under timesheet.

Can anyone share the steps here.

Regards,

Vidya

Hi @Vidya VASUDEVAN

I understand you use Clockwork and the Project Admin is trying to edit the 00:00 hours shown on the timesheet for users who have failed to log the expected hours.

As shown:

The 00:00 shown on the timesheet represents the absence of a Worklog, so there is no Worklog to be edited and that is why you do not get a pop-up when the hrs is clicked. The Project Admin would need to create a new Worklog for users with 0hrs, using the add Worklog button on the Timesheet screen or directly on the issue.
