BigPicture Risk Module vs. Risk Register

At the moment, we use the Risk Register app for our risk management. Here we have the option of assessing risks between Inherent and Residual. This can also be displayed in the heat map. Is this also possible in the BigPicture Risk Module? Does anyone have any experience? I have only found one evaluation option so far.

Great question—I’ve been wondering the same thing. We’re also in the process of evaluating the BigPicture Risk module. Based on what I’ve found through ChatGPT, it seems like displaying both Inherent and Residual Risk is possible with the right configurations, but the instructions provided were a bit too vague to implement directly. Highly appreciate more specific instructions on how to enable that.

Yes, unfortunately I didn't find anything about this in the instructions. I have also not seen anywhere that it should be possible in BigPicture.

If you're looking for a simple way to assess risks with Inherent and Residual values directly in Jira, Risk Radar might be a good alternative.

It provides a clear risk evaluation and visualization without the complexity of larger modules like BigPicture. Let me know if you’d like more details!
