EazyBi -How to create a report from Initiative to subtask

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create a eazyBI project with the following dimensions:

  • Under Pages: Issue Type, where I select type = Initiative,
  • Under Rows: I have Issue - but unable to drill down from

Initiative to Projects > Epics >Story > Tasks.

I am able to perform these activities if I am working with Epics, but unable to perform the same report if I try to use Initiatives.

Any help or guidance would be appreciate it.

Hello @JiraLearner

Thanks for posting your question!

If you have a hierarchy in the Issue dimension, you just need to select the corresponding level member under the respective hierarchy & you will get the results where you can expand it to the levels below it.

In my example below, I am using the Epic hierarchy. You can see that I have expanded one of the Epics and the respective Stories and Sub-Tasks. You can also switch between these hierarchy members to display results on different levels.

If you still need to create the hierarchy, you can refer to the documentation here: Hierarchy with epics and Features. In your case, you would replace "Feature" with "Initiative."

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Best,

Marita from support@eazybi.com
