Is there a way to add colors or symbols to Team Calendars?

We are using Team Calendars (currently version 1.5) for a project, and we have a single calendar dedicated to this project. Our PM would like to know if there is a way to make certain items (i.e. milestones) stand out from meetings, training, etc. by the use of a different color or adding an icon. I wasn't able to find a way ...

There are a few feature requests open for team calendar color options (linked below, just for reference) but I believe this one covers what you are describing:

Thanks for the answer Nik. I added a vote for TEAMCAL-364. This takes care of the colors, but icons would really be cool too. I created a request for this: https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-430.
