Hi all, we have a requirement from a customer to be able to keep some data 'cifrato' so we can limit the visibility inside of Jira with Issue Security but the requirement is for the data to be blanked out when you export a set of issues.
Does anyone know of any plugin / app that can do this?
Cheers
Hi fellow community champion @Valerie Knapp !
I can think of Secure Fields - Data Security & Privacy by Almaris. Other apps don't have high ratings from what I saw. I'd suggest that you do this on test environment first.

depending on your exact use case, this should be easy to do in the app that my team and I are working on: JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your work items (issues) that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your work item fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheet, or Airtable. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including the ability to redact columns. Of course, this is also respected in JXL's one-click Excel or CSV export:
I should add that JXL can do much more than the above: From support for configurable issue hierarchies, to issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

@Valerie Knapp I am not sure what format you meant by "when you export".
We develop the an Excel- and a PDF exporter app, and these can be customized to "skip" fields by their ID, by their name, by their field type, etc. The whole thing configurable to the lowest details.
