The Progress field has a value on the Gantt chart, but it does not have a value on the Jira issue

Hello everyone,

I'm currently facing an issue with BigPicture.

In BigPicture's Gantt mode, I have set the progress field with the aggregation method set to "Average, without parent." The tool automatically calculates the progress for the Epic, but the Task Progress field in the Jira issue does not have a value.

I have confirmed that the BigPicture Progress field and the Jira Task Progress field are synchronized because modifying the task's progress value will reflect on the Jira issue.

Does anyone know how to make the progress value appear on the Epic issue?

Best regards,

Hello @Anita Chen

The discrepancy between progress values in BigPicture’s Gantt chart and Jira issues might be due to the synchronization settings between the two tools. Check the BigPicture field mapping settings to ensure the progress field is correctly linked and updates bidirectionally.

Sometimes, aggregation methods like "Average, without parent" may not push values back to parent issues in Jira.

If the synchronization appears correct but still doesn’t reflect on the Jira issue, consider reconfiguring the aggregation method or refreshing the data integration.

Hi @Sahir Maharaj ,

I have refreshed the data integration and tried other aggregation methods like "Average," but the issue still persists.

I have submitted a support ticket to BigPicture.

Thank you for your help.
