Automation to create Atlas project from a Jira service desk issue

We made a service request with a form in Jira. When the service request is approved by management, it needs to be created in Atlas for status reporting. Currently I have to create it all manually. Much copy paste of fields from the form of the serivice request into the About in Atlas and custom fields in Atlas. This takes me 10mins for every approved initiative. Is it possible to do this in an automated way?
