I'm trying to change my email to "<name>@<customdomain>.<tld>". However it fails to pass the validation and doesn't let me change it. With a little typo, such as "name@customdomain.td" or "name@custodomain.tld", then it does pass.

Would anyone from Atlassian be able to check out what's going on here? I'd send a support ticket but I'm not a paying customer so I can only post here.

HI @Xarovin

Welcome to the community.

Are users managed? Then the change should be made on the managed directoy.

Hey, with a bit more research, I found out that Atlassian took a heavy handed approach to blanket ban any domain connected to the SimpleLogin MX records, even if it's a private custom domain.

I presume there's not much you can do on your end, but it may be worth Atlassian re-visiting that decision at some point. SimpleLogin has controls in place to prevent multiple sign ups to a single service, and is a reputable paid service that's designed to be connected to a custom domain.
