Atlassian project - Notification to followers

I want to change the notification time in which the follower receives the information. If updates are sent weekly, then I want the risk, decision, learning to send the information once a week like the updates do. Is it possible? Also, is there a way to edit the time for all of them i.e. deliver notification bi-weekly vs. weekly?

I see what you’re aiming for — having risks, decisions, learnings behave like “updates,” where followers receive a digest once a week (or even every two weeks). At the moment, that level of scheduling customization isn’t available in Atlassian Project notifications. Here’s what’s important to know:

• Updates are the only element that has a built-in weekly digest option.

• Risks, decisions, and learnings send notifications as soon as they’re published or edited — there’s no native way to delay or bundle them.

• Right now, you also can’t change the frequency globally (weekly → bi-weekly) across all elements.

A couple of workarounds that might help:

• Encourage your team to use the “Updates” section for summary info, and include highlights of new risks/decisions/learnings there. That way, followers get the digest without extra noise.

• If you need tighter control, you could manage comms through a separate Confluence page or Jira filter subscription, where you decide the schedule of notifications (weekly/bi-weekly).
