We had a bamboo elastic agent running on an EC2 server, but suddenly it was gone. How can this happen? Is there a timelimit on these agents?

Hi Thomas,

By default, Bamboo will shut down Elastic agents that aren't in use in order to cut down on your Amazon costs. You can definitely modify this setting by editing the Automatically terminate elastic instance when elastic agent process ends option in Bamboo's Global settings. You can also specify a time limit that an agent has to be idle before Bamboo terminates it. For more information see Configuring Elastic Bamboo.
