Hi,
I want Bamboo to automatiically stop the elastic instance instead of terminating it. The two settings relating to this are not clear to me. First there is "Automatically terminate elastic instance when elastic agent process ends" (1) and then there is "Idle agent shutdown delay" (2) (under Automatic elastic instance management).
Is there a combination of these two settings that will make Bamboo stop the instance but not terminate it? Based on the wording I thought disabling (1) and enabling (2) would do it but the instance still got terminated.
Thanks
There's nothing in Bamboo UI that would let you do it. You can try changing the termination behaviour of your instances (e.g. through AWS Console or in the Bamboo EC2 instance setup script).
Even if I change the instance shutdown behaviour to Stop; it is still being killed by Bamboo.
