×I am new to Bamboo (and JIRA). We would like to use Bamboo but not EC2. The instructions say that EC2 account is required for Bamboo "on-demand". We're OK with that, but is this also true for "on-premises" solution? That would be a deal breaker for us.
Thanks in advance,

On-premises (you own server) you have more options.
Mostly:
A bit repeat here considering Pawel's answer - but no - EC2 account is not a requirement when using the on-premise Bamboo as you don't have to use the Elastic Bamboo- feature if you don't want (just build your own agents).
I did not know before that you have to have an EC2 account if you want to use the Bamboo "on-demand" - but of course it makes perfect sense considering the agents.
