How can I connect a JIRA Release to a Bamboo Build after the fact?

My team publishes a Release by manually triggering a build in Bamboo instead of triggering it via the JIRA Release.

I'd like to connect the JIRA Release to that manually triggered Bamboo build without making a new build.

Is there a way to do that?

No, at the moment there's no way of doing that.
