If I try to add a repository from GitHub, I have to enter a username and password. No. We can't do that.
If I try to add a plain Git repository and give it a GitHub URL with an SSH key that I set up as a deployment key, it says:
"'SSH' transport protocol is not supported."
Is there any way to use Bamboo with GitHub other than giving Bamboo a username and password? That's just not going to work.
We're very happy with Solano Labs because of the incredibly easy setup. This makes me appreciate Solano Labs a lot. But we want tighter JIRA integration so we're hoping that there is some way to use Bamboo without using Bitbucket, since Bitbucket just can't replace GitHub.
Hello Ryan,
Thank you for your question.
Atlassian Cloud limits outgoing connections to ports 80 (http) and 443 (https) therefore we don't support ssh in Bamboo Cloud, I am afraid.
If you find this answer useful, I would kindly ask you to accept it so the same will be visible to others who might be facing the same issue you have inquired.
Thank you for your understanding.
