Accidentally pushed large commit, now repo is large

kerryfrombenbrook August 29, 2023

Hi, I didn't mean to push my last commit (a folder with MANY images in it), and now my repo is very full.  How can I remove that?  Thank you!

G'day @kerryfrombenbrook

I have triggered Git GC on both large repositories within your workspace which has reduced the repository size significantly.

Could you review it and let me know how it goes?

Cheers,

Yes!  Thank you so much!  Have a great day, and thank you again!

Ok, I reset my local commit to the previous commit, and then ran "git push origin -f"

I can confirm that the large commit is no longer on the BitBucket repository, but my size is still 3.5 GB.  Do I need to compact it somehow?

thanks!
