Can we merge the code to another repository

Saad ur Rehman Mohsin April 7, 2020

HI,

I have a specific question that I wanted to get clarified on. I have two repositories. One has all unencrypted code and that is the repository from which I am going to make my release. I have another repository that has all the code encrypted except specific folders in which I want my team to work and do daily tasks/features/ bug fixes etc. I want to merge the code to my main repository that has all unencrypted code. Can we do this or not. I would really appreciate your help

It can be done, but not from within Bitbucket. You have to manually do the merge since you are merging between two repositories with unrelated histories. Have a look at this blog post on how to merge repositories, How to merge two or multiple git repositories into one
