Cannot clone code from Bitbucket-Cloud to VisualStudio 2019 Enterprise

Hi,

I have issue with connection between BitBucket-Cloud and VisualStudio2019. The following message happens when trying to clone code.

Anyone also has this issue and how to fix it ? Thanks alot :(

The error indicates that it's unable to locate git in your local machine and after a quick search on Stackoverflow I found an interestingly similar error as yours at:

• Cannot use git actions in VisualStudio (git-askpass.exe: No such file or directory) 

The most accepted answer point is that you need to install the latest pre-release of Git Credential Manager for Windows at Git Credential Manager for Windows and do some tweaks to get it works.

I would suggest checking the suggested steps and let me know how it goes.
