Disable merge strategies

Hi,

In GitHub it's trivial for an owner/admin och a repository to disable certain merge strategies and thus enforcing a consistent merge behaviour in the repository. I have been unable to find any equivalent in BitBucket cloud. I've seen references to it for BitBucket server and I can see that Forge has some merge checks module but this doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for. Is there some other module in Forge that would accomplish what I'm looking for?

I've found a ticket from 2017 https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-14244 but I can't tell if this one is forgotten or not and perhaps already implemented via som other ticket.

We provide a Bitbucket cloud app, Flowie, which implements BCLOUD-14244 and supports restricting the merge strategies, as you are describing. It also lets you enforce close branch, commit messages and other aspects of your workflow.
