We found the solution....

Please change the documentation....

Replace all single quote by double quotes and add Backslash for the JSON file

The command line for CURL must be :

curl -v -H "Content-Type: application/json" -XPUT \
  d "{\"next\": \"1000\" }" \
  --user "USERNAME:PASSWORD" \
  "https://api.bitbucket.org/2.0/repositories/USERNAME/REPONAME/pipelines_config/build_number"
