Kindly note that when requesting to cancel your Bitbucket subscription, there are two options:

Option #1 - Downgrade the plan to Free ( cancels the billing - preserves your data)

• You can downgrade an account to the free 5 user plan and the data remains.
• More information regarding how to downgrade to free can be found on this page Manage your plan and billing

OR

Option #2 - Delete your workspace (cancels the billing - permanently deletes your data)

• A Bitbucket Account Admin can go to: Workspace Settings > Delete Workspace to permanently remove the workspace.
• Please note :
  • if you delete the workspace, all repositories under that workspace will also be deleted
  • ⚠️ This operation is not reversible. It's not possible to recover a deleted workspace or its repositories.
  • Also, the workspace ID will not be released until 30 days after the date of deletion.

To cancel a subscription for an app:

1. Go to admin.atlassian.com/billing. Select your billing account if you have more than one.

2. Select Subscriptions, find the subscription you want to cancel, and select Manage.

3. Select more actions > Cancel subscription, then review and confirm your cancellation.
