Hi

We have to migrate large files from our main repo to git lfs and for that we have seen the process that we need to follow.

But before applying it on the main repo directly we are trying to run the process on a sample repo and migration happening correctly but it's not getting removed from git repo.

Can you please run GC on this test repo so we can verify the complete process?

Here is my repo name- <redacted>.git

Hi Neeraj and welcome to the community!

I ran a git gc for this repo, but its size has remained unchanged at 114.3 MB. This is the size of the core Git repo, the LFS files are not included in this size. I can also see in our system that there are LFS files in the repo as well.

Were you expecting a different size for the repo?

Do they files you migrated show as LFS files in the repo pages on Bitbucket's website or not?

Kind regards,
Theodora
