Import of repository failed

Hello Team,

I'm trying to import a repository from different workspace of my own user account and since this is a private repository I did check on "Requires authorization" but receiving the below error:

1. 11:53:02 git import for: https://bitbucket.org/xxxxx/xxxxx
2. 11:53:02 Cloning https://bitbucket.org/xxxxx/xxxxx...
3. 11:53:04 Remote Git clone failed: <class 'bitbucket.apps.asyncx.tasks.RepoImportTask.ImportException'>: Command failed. Return value: 128

Please suggest on where I'm going wrong.

Hey Ramya,

I have censored your repository path as this is a public forum.

Given that we have moved away from basic username/password authentication over HTTPS connections, I would suggest making use of an AppPassword and including this within the URL when performing the import.

We have documentation for usage of app passwords at the following link:

https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/app-passwords/#Create-an-app-password 

Once you have created an AppPassword, you can then include it in the clone URL as follows:

https://USERNAME:APP_PASSWORD@bitbucket.org/workspaceID/reposlug.git

Try unticking "Requires authorization" and using the above format for the repo URL and let me know how this goes.
