I have been getting very weird inline code-block behavior inside of Bitbucket & Confluence since swapping to a macbook, and it's getting pretty... annoying. The GIF below attempts to demonstrate what happens:
As soon as I enter the closing back-tick the code block is formed but the start tick is placed in front, _before_ the block, while the closing tick is placed at the end, _inside_ the block. When I start undoing text input (cmd + Z) it starts rearranging the text in a very odd way and takes 2 or 3 "undos" to get back to the initial text.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, or if there's a way to fix this?
FWIW (but probably not relevant here) I have smart quotes turned off.
