Hello,
We are using cloud based JSM.
Agents can work and use the product.
Customers can use the portal.
We want that internal manages to view the Dashbard.
Is it possible without an agent license?
I know that for server (non-cloud) you only need Jira license.
I tried to add a new group and add the managers to this group.
Then, to grant "view projects" at the permission scheme.
Still, can not make it work.
Please advise,
In addition, if it does not work , maybe we can purchase a Jira (not JSM) license for the managers and then add them to the "view project" setup?
Thanks!
Cloud and server work the same way. You need your managers to be Jira users of some sort (but not Agents). So get a Core or Software licence for them, and they'll be able to create and use dashboards, even ones that read issues from the Service Desk projects (assuming you grant them project view rights in the service desk projects)
Thanks!
So, Assuming we do not use Jira SW, we just need to purchase Jira licenses for them for that purpose (cloud license) ?

Jira Core licences will do it, if you don't want to use Software.
